I've had a few requests recently to show images of my home. You know that old saying, "the shoemaker's children have no shoes?" Well, the same is true of designers. My house is a dynamic thing - never done and definitely not meant to be a marketing piece. I've decided to post a few pictures from time to time. Maybe it will encourage me to finish some projects.
This is our Kitchen/Family Room which is the heart of the house. The nine foot island serves as homework central, craft area, buffet, baking, prep and weeknight dining - you name it.
The backsplash is my favorite element. It's a back painted glass and is a snap to clean. It's reflective but has this great depth too. Love it.
